Newfoundland & Labrador and Eastbound International Speedway officially has its first full-time competitor in the NASCAR Pinty’s Series
Newfoundland & Labrador’s Eastbound International Speedway driver Josh Collins, will mark another historical notch in his career with the announcement of joining the full season NASCAR Pinty’s Series that will tour across Canada. Collins performed NASCAR worthy in 2015 with two successful races in Antigonish, NS, and the Final in Fraserville, ON, with Joey McColm’s Canada’s Best Racing Team. Collins a native of Placentia, NL and a veteran racer at Eastbound International Speedway was the first Newfoundland & Labradorian to compete in a NASCAR touring series.
Collins will team up once again with NASCAR veteran driver Joey McColm, with the start of the season piloting the #25 racecar at the Canadian Tire Motorsport Park in Bowmanville, ON, for the Castrol Victoria Day Speedfest Weekend on May 22. Collins sponsored by Dennis Porter Trucking, Edward Collins Contracting, Universal Environmental Inc, and Eastbound International Speedway, is focused on his first ever road course after training with NASCAR Pinty’s driver JF Dumoulin in Mount Tremblant, Quebec this past fall.
