UPDATE: Due to a technical violation by the GTD winning car it has been stripped of its first place finish, due to this the #23 car has been promoted to first place.

Double Podium day for Jeff Kingsley at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta

Friday was a two race day for the Porsche GT3 Cup Challenge USA series at Road Atlanta. In race #1 of the day Jeff Kingsley finished in second place behind race winner Riley Dickinson, in the second race of the day Jeff reversed the finishing order by passing pole sitter Riley between turns 1 and 2 and held on for a 5.0 second lead at the finish line.

The victory was Jeff’s 7th of the season and now leads Riley by 22 points in the driver championship heading into Saturday mornings race 3 of the weekend.

It was another double podium weekend for Jeff Kingsley in the #16 Kelly-Moss Road and Race Porsche 991 / 2017 at Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta. In Saturday’s Race #1 of the weekend Jeff started in 2nd place behind Riley Dickinson but managed to get past him for the race win. Sunday’s Race #2 saw Jeff start in 3rd behind Pole Sitter Riley Dickinson and Sean McAlister. Riley would go on to win the race with Jeff getting past Sean for 2nd place in the race.
