@IMSA – 2021 Rolex 24 at Daytona Race Results

It was not a bad day for the Canadians at this year’s Rolex 24 at Daytona race with three drivers reaching the podium.
In LMP2 we had John Farano ( co-drivers Gabreil Aubry,Tim Buret,Matthieu Vaxiviere ) driving the #8 ORECA LMP2 07 for Tower Motorsport/Tower Events who finished in 2nd place behind the #81 car of Era Motorsport ( On a side note the paint scheme for the #81 car was designed by an 6 year old boy from Whitby Ontario who won a contest ). Also in the LMP2 class Devlin DeFrancesco ( co-drivers Eric Lux,Fabian Schiller,Chrispoher Miles ) driving the #82 ORECA LMP2 07 for DragonSpeed USA LLC finished in 3rd.
In the GTD class we had Mikael Grenier ( co-drivers Kenny Habul,Raffaele Marciello,Luca Stolz ) driving the #75 Mercedes-AMG GT3 Sun Energy 1 car into a 2nd place finish.
The overall race winner was the #10 Konica Minolta Acura ARX-05 of Wayne Taylor Racing with drivers Ricky Taylor,Filipe Albuquerque,Alexander Rossi, and Helio Castroneves.
