China Grove, N.C. (April 19, 2018) – Pirelli World Challenge Series driver Shea Holbrook will make her IMSA Lamborghini Super Trofeo Series North America debut at Mid-Ohio Sports Car Course on Saturday, May 5th with Precision Performance Motorsports (PPM). Holbrook will share driving duties with co-driver Martin Barkey behind the wheel of the No. 67 Lamborghini Huracan Evo. Martin will bring aboard MBRP Performance Exhaust, The SportLab, Projekt, and Spyder as his sponsors.
Holbrook began her professional racing career with the Sports Car Club of America in 2010. She became the first woman to win the Grand Prix of Long Beach in a touring car during the 2011 Pirelli World Challenge season, and is one of only four women to ever win at the track.
“Perseverance and having the good fortune of being surrounded by amazing people and partners in the industry has allowed us this opportunity. It’s been a long-time coming for me and I couldn’t be more thrilled and grateful to be joining PPM and my co-driver Martin Barkey for the North American Lamborghini Super Trofeo season,” said Holbrook. “Partnering with Shea and PPM in the all-new Lamborghini Evo couldn’t be more exciting. I look forward to earning strong performances and results together to continue elevating our overall goals and partners,” said Barkey.
” We are thrilled to welcome Shea into our PPM family, and to be a part of her Super Trofeo Series debut” said Sunny Voelker, PPM Team Manager.
