IndyCar Grand Prix Qualifying Results from Friday 11/May/18

During today’s qualifying for the IndyCar GP on the IMS road course both SPM drivers finished in the top five. Robert Wickens placed second by less than a tenth of a second behind pole sitter Will Power, while team mate James Hinchcliffe placed fourth. The other Canadian in the field, Zach Claman De Melo will start the race from the 19th position .

Below are the Top Ten starting positions for Saturday’s race.

@IndyCar Qualifying Results for Sunday’s @GPSTPETE

 

It was a great run for Canadian Robert Wickens and his Schmidt Peterson Motorsports team in qualifying today. Robert in his first IndyCar series race took the pole position by a mere 0.0703 seconds over Will Power. Robert’s teammate James Hinchcliffe made it into the TOP 12 and placed 7th overall, while the third Canadian in the race #19 Zach Claman De Melo placed 22nd on the grid.

2018 Grand Prix of St. Petersburg Weekend Driver Lineups
